ENTRY SUBJECT REQUIREMENTS

I. Language and Literature- 24 units

     a. English -

II. Mathematics- 9 units *

     a. College Algebra -3 units

     b. Trigonometry- 3 units

     c. Statistics - 3 units

     d. Physics-5 units

III.  Chemistry- 10 units *

           1. General Chemistry - 5 units

           2. Organic Chemistry- 5 units

IV.  Biology- 15 units  ( sample subjects below) *

            1. Botany- 5 units

            2. Zoology- 5 units

            3. Comparative Anatomy - Cat Anatomy- 5 units

V.  Humanities & Social Science- 18 units

      a. Humanities -6 units ( Arts, Philosophy)

             1. Arts - 3 units

             2. Philosophy - 3 units

      b. Social Sciences- 12 units- ( sample subjects below)

             1. Basic Economics -3 units

             2. Psychology - 3 units

             3. Politics and Governance - 3 units

             4. Sociology / Anthropology - 3 units

Total units = 81

Note:
A 3-unit  subject  has   3 credit  hours  per   week and has 54 hours of classroom contact per semester. * These  subjects   must  be taken within a  baccalaureate  degree  program or its equivalent
by foreign applicants. ( CHED   Memorandum order   no. 59, Series of 1996 requires 63 units only ( Lang and Lit = 24 units, Math and Natural Science= 15 units, Humanities and Soc. Sc.= 18 units, Mandated subjects- Rizal,  Philippine History,  Politics and Governance  = 6 units. Mandated subjects are not required for foreign students.) P.E.( for female students ) and 6 units ROTC (for male students) are also required for local applicants.

1.) Academic Scholarships. The College offers Academic Scholarships to deserving
     applicants in recognition of scholastic excellence.

2.) Nellie Kellog Van Schaik Scholarships. The College administers scholarship provided
     by Nellie Kellog Van Schaik Foundation, an American philanthropic body. These are
     usually extended to individuals who are qualified for admission but are financially
     incapable.
