The Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. is having a good streak of excellent performance in the licensure examination of its respective courses.
Starting with a 100% passing rate for our Midwifery students in the licensure examination held last November 2021. All thirteen (13) takers from DMSFI aced the exam amongst the 1774 takers all over the country. Not to be outdone, a 93.94% passing rate for 1st takers for the Nursing Licensure examination last November 2021 followed, with Ms. Ricel G. Dy, RN, finishing 8th place in the 6086 examinees who successfully passed the said licensure examination.
On the other hand, an 80.65% passing rate welcomed the year 2022 for the College of Dentistry in January 2022. In the Philippine Dentist Licensure Examination, our graduate, Dr. Bernadine Tay Tan placing an 83.60% score topping all the other 730 new dentists passing the examination. This was backed by our top physicians during the 2022 Physician Licensure Examination. Dr. Celine Angelica Garcia (88.42%) and Dr. Benjoe Curato (83.60%) finished 3rd and 5th respectively amongst 1427 takers, with DMSFI logging 89.66% passing rate amongst the first takers.
Finally, Ma. Isabella Donsol of the College of Midwifery set another milestone by obtaining an 89.95% rating and placing number one among the 733 passers of the Midwifery licensure examination held last April 22, 2022. The performance of these graduates mirrors the hard work and dedication that the DMSFI administration, faculty, and staff exemplified to maintain excellence in delivering quality education true to the vision and mission of the institution.
