Admission Requirements

N

Has obtained a baccalaureate degree in any discipline;

N

Has experience in research, teaching or practice in community development work for at least one year, and;

N

Currently employed in the government, non-government organization or in an academic institution.

Admission Procedures

Step 1

Please send a letter of intent to the Dean (vicky@email.dmsf.edu.ph) through the Secretary of the Graduate School (thinnee@yahoo.com). Contents of the Letter of Intent:

The Dean will contact you to answer your queries and will notify you if you qualify in the initial screening.

Step 4

If you qualify, the Secretary of the Graduate School will email you the Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and Pre-Registration Notice (PRN).

Step 5

Please process your online enrollment to the Registrar’s Office through the assistance of the Secretary of the Graduate School.

Step 1: Initial Evaluation Documents

The foreign student applicant directly communicates with the school and complies with the school’s institutional requirements which shall include the submission of the following documents for initial evaluation;

Step 2: Submission of Documents for Initial Evaluation

Foreign applicants are required to send all Step 1 documents to:

Step 3: Initial Evaluation Results

Submitted documents will be evaluated by the admission’s committee after which you will be properly informed as to the status of your application. Should you be accepted DMSFI will send you the following:

Personal History Statement (PHS) forms for you to fill up (11 copies)

Step 4: Submission of Documents to the Office of the Dean

The necessary requirements are to be completed and returned back to the Office of the Dean including the following documents duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post in the country of origin (required by the DFA):

A notarized affidavit of Financial Support

A photocopy of passport pages where Name, Photo, Birth Date and Birthplace appears

Student's Personal History Statement

Police Clearance certificate issued by the National Police Authorities in the student's country of origin

Note: All these documents should be mailed in time for the following scheduled semesters;

First semester class ( June) – Documents should be submitted on or before March 30.
Second semester class ( November ) – On or before September 15.
Summer Class – On or before January 15.

Enrollment Schedule:

First Semester: 1st week of June – 2nd week of June
Second Semester: Last week of October – 2nd week of November
